It is not about how much you make money, it is about the way you used for making this money. 
Don't try to relate your success to money. Success is not money oriented. Change yourself, your life should be purpose focused not money focused. 
Success depends how you define it. If success is related to money for you then keep this thing in your mind, the more you make money, you will become more insecure. 
Whenever we decide to go into a business, the first thing that came to your mind is money. Because most of us grow up in an environment where we didn't have a lot of money. But you can't get satisfaction from this money. If you are not happy, if you don't love your work, doesn't matter how much you make from this business. Then this earned money increases your insecurities. 
Failure is just like a sign post. Failure is compulsory to judge yourself, to identify your knowledge, skills, abilities, power and gaps required to be filled before getting successful.
Don't chase money, chase your purpose and money will follow. 
Chase your purpose, chase what you love to do.
Then your work, your passion increases your satisfaction level.
Behavioral science tells us about the people who focused on money, are eight times more likely to engage in deception , deceit and fault related behavior because they are focusing on money.
